Jaguar Xtype in Glasgow, South Lanarkshire for sale

REDUCED FROM £1100 TO £900. I AM GIVING THIS CAR AWAY NOW. REDUCED DUE TO TIME WASTERS. IF I DONT GET £900 FOR IT I WILL GIVE IT TO A RELATIVE. For sale, my Jaguar xtype. I have owned this car for just over 1 year. I am selling due to buying a new car and need to get some space on my driveway. The cars bodywork is excellent for the age of the car. It does have the odd mark here and there as you would expect for a car that is 10 years old. It has an MOT on it until May 2013 and is taxed until the end of the year, it also comes with a full service history. Inside the car is again in very good condition for its age. Now for the down to this car. It has an engine management light on and this does make a difference to the performance of the car. I have had this checked out by both the AA (report present) and an independent garage and both have given me the same feedback. They are saying that the car needs a knock sensor fitted and this will sort the problem. I have priced these and they cost around the £150 mark plus you would need to get it fitted. All in all around £250 to £300 repair. The car is worth more than this with the cost of the car plus the repair. I reccon that this car fixed would fetch nearer the £1800. This is a car that I will be sorry to see go, however I do need to get some space on the driveway again. This car is a bargain for someone and if you can do the repair yourself then this is a really cheap car for someone. Once repaired you will not be disappionted. PS, 4 good tyres on this car and AWD. (4 wheel drive, great for the winter!!)
